Product Introduction
PFS High Expansion Foam Generator is the key component of the high expansion foam fire extinguishing system that generates and ejects foam. It blends foam mixture and air in an extremely brief time to form large amount of foam, which rapidly covers the burning location, isolating the fire from the air to achieve the goal of extinguishing fire. High expansion foam generator has extremely little water consumption, and small waterlogging damage, and it effectively expels exhaust and toxic gas, which make it suitable for either total flooding or partial flooding in limited spaces.
Scope of Application
All types of merchandise warehouses, e.g. electrical equipment material warehouse, elevated material warehouse, automobile garage, textile warehouse, rubber warehouse, tobacco and paper warehouse, cotton warehouse, aircraft warehouse, refrigeration warehouse, inflammable liquid warehouse, etc.
Industrial workshops with fire hazards, such as petrochemical production workshop, aircraft engine test workshop, boiler room, cable interlayer, oil pump room and oil wharf, etc.
Underground construction projects such as underground garage, underground warehouse, underground railway, civil air defense tunnel, underground shopping mall, coal mine, cable trench and underground hydraulic oil pump station, etc.
Warehouse of Precious Instruments and Equipment such as computer room, library and archives and large communication room.
Flow fire of liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied natural gas.
Instructions
Installation Requirements
Obstacles are not allowed within 300cm of the air inlet port of the foam generator.
Obstacles that would prevent foam ejection are not allowed within 1m of the forward distance of the foam mesh of the foam generator.
When foam generator is used for total flooding system, the installation height should be higher than the height reached by the foam design.
Foam mesh should be facing toward the protection area.
Maintenance and Care
Frequently clean the foam mesh. No sundries are allowed on the foam mesh at any time.
The foam generator should be rinsed clean with clear water after every ejection.
The foam generator should be overhauled once a year, after which the sealing test with 1.0Mpa water pressure should be performed. No leakage or apparent deformation occurs any any part or joint.
Installed equipment can not be disassembled at will to avoid loss of performance.
